Posting seemed like it would be something I could work into my routine but alas, with vacation, summer fitness schedules, paying contract work and the need to rest in between, there doesn't seem to be the time to fit in creative writing.
Writer's block can also keep me away from the keys. What to publish??
There are so many thoughts bouncing around inside the head, which ones can I lasso and put to script? Any attempt is better than no attempt, here anyway, but not maybe in skydiving.
Speaking of skydiving, my other passion which has taken a back seat to raising three boys, managing a competitive soccer program and running my own design and marketing firm, I do allocate at least one day every quarter to keep myself current. Pathetic really. There will be time again for such things. I hope.
To describe skydiving to someone who has no stomach for "throwing yourself out of a perfectly good airplane" would be like trying to describe death by lethal injection. You are never gonna try it so why even describe it. So, for those that have the hutspa (sp) to take the leap, go for it and smile all the way down. You will remember the moment for the rest of your life and it will be worth it!
